I consider myself an emerging and exploring mixed media artist. After a career in healthcare and then home schooling my three amazing children, it is only in recent years that I have been able to devote myself to artistic creativity. I work in multiple medium and often combine them to fulfill my vision. Living in rural Otter Point, I have a deep appreciation for the beauty in nature and I find inspiration in the shapes, colours and contrasts that surround us. I strive to capture those elements in my works.  Although I enjoy representational renderings, I lean towards expressionism and abstract as I believe that those pieces offer the viewer the opportunity to interpret their own narrative. That interaction between a piece and the viewer is where art happens.
